Job Title: Neonatologist
 
Duties: The Neonatologist at Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation in Oak Lawn, IL will provide medical care, assessment and consultative services to infants including pediatric and neonatal clinical management, physical examination, diagnosis of disease, disorder, and injury. Prescribe and administer medications and therapies. Develop preventative health practices. Perform routine invasive and noninvasive procedures. Analyze records, reports, test results and/or examination information to diagnose and assess medical condition(s) of patients. Treat patients by prescribing or administering medication, therapy, vaccination, development programs/activities or other specialized medical care. Collect, record and maintain patient medical history. Advise patients concerning development concerns, activity, disease, and injury prevention.
 
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Medical degree (M.D.) or its foreign equivalent, completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics, completion of an accredited fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and possession of a State of Illinois medical license.
