Advocate Health – Midwest Region – does 50,000 procedures annually and has more than 250 clinic trials. Among other non-profit organizations in the country, Advocate has the 10th largest heart program in the country.
Recognized for advanced technologies by U.S. News and World Report, our medical centers lead the way in surgical excellence with technologies like TAVR, top pediatric heart programs, and positive outcomes. Aurora Medical Center-Grafton recently made history with the first procedure using the new Allia IGS Pulse technology in all the Midwest. They are the third hospital in the country to have this equipment in the cath lab.
Job details
- 1.0 FTE
- Interventional Cardiology
- Coronary interventions required, peripheral if trained
- Surgical backup available for complex cases
- Watchman (not an opportunity for TAVR or MV clips presently)
- STEMI call: 1-2 weekdays a week, 1 weekend evening, 1 weekend per month
- Opportunity to read own echo and nuclear
- Round on own patients
- Two cath labs (and two EP labs)
- EPIC EMR
Training and/or experience required
- Completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship required
- 2025 fellows are encouraged to apply
