Job Description
We have an exceptional opportunity for a new or experienced colon and rectal surgeon to join our comprehensive team at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Aurora St. Luke’s offers a wide range of care and is the largest hospital in the state.  

Education, training, and experience required:
  • Completion of a general surgery residency from an accredited program
  • Completion of a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery from an accredited program 
  • Must have skills in performing the full breadth of colorectal procedures
  • Patient centered with excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • BE/BC
Program Overview:
  • This is a 100% colorectal practice, no general surgery call
  • Located at a quaternary care facility, Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a 938-bed hospital providing innovative care to patients from across the state, the country and the world
  • State-of-the-art technology including multiple da Vinci Xi robots
  • Full breadth of routine and complex colon and rectal surgical cases including cancers, diverticular disease, IBD, etc.
  • Respected, collaborative partners will provide excellent mentorship
  • Freedom to customize your practice
  • Acute care surgery team in place so minimal emergent cases
  • Excellent shared call schedule 
  • Opportunities to perform research or teach trainees if desired
