Job Title: Hematologist/Oncologist
 
Duties: The Hematologist/Oncologist at Aurora Medical Group, Inc. in Sheboygan, Wisconsin will monitor, provide, and manage long-term comprehensive medical care to patients suffering from malignant diseases, such as cancers, tumors and lymphomas, as well as diseases and disorders of the blood, spleen and lymph glands. 

Use medical instruments, equipment and diagnostic technologies, to examine patients for symptoms of cancers, tumors, and other malignant diseases, blood diseases/disorders and/or lymphatic disorders, and verify the necessity of medical treatment, intervention, and/or surgery, estimate possible risks to patients, and determine the best course of care. Treat patients by prescribing or administering medication, such as chemotherapy, hormones and analgesics, and other specialized non-surgical medical care and therapies. Consult with surgeons and radiologists regarding the provision of other treatments and therapies for the diseases and disorders suffered by patients. 
 
Minimum Requirements: Medical Degree (M.D.) or its foreign equivalent, completion of an accredited medical residency program in Internal Medicine, completion of an accredited medical fellowship in Hematology and Oncology and possession of a State of Wisconsin medical license.
