Job Description
We currently have openings in Milwaukee, WI and Sheboygan, WI. These positions are an excellent launching pad to advance your career!
 
 As the hospitalist medical director, you will:
  • Set the tone of the program 
  • Lead a patient-centric clinical team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APC)
  • Promote a collaborative practice environment with nursing department leaders, specialists, and hospital administration 
  • Most importantly, share your passion for providing compassionate, quality patient care 
   
Aurora St. Luke's South Shore
This is a 275 bed community hospital just a few minutes south of Milwaukee and they see a diverse patient population from both the city as well as the surrounding suburbs. This program currently has 12 physicians total and has a wonderful mix of newer and more established physicians. The group sees very low turnover and they work very well together and with the specialists and ancillary staff. It is a close-knit and friendly environment. Working at St Luke's South Shore gives you the option to either live in the city or any of our wonderful southeastern WI suburbs. It is a stones throw from Downtown Milwaukee where you can enjoy various sporting events, museums, theaters and award-winning restaurants but also close enough to variety of our wonderful southeastern WI suburbs where there is an array of highly ranked public and private schools and diverse neighborhoods. 

Aurora Medical Center - Sheboygan County
This brand new hospital opened in the Summer of 2022 and is located in Sheboygan, WI which is about 45 minutes north of Milwaukee. It is a state of the art facility with 113 beds with more than 30 specialties available on-site. Sheboygan is near some of the greatest schools and have affordable living. They also offer a lot of outdoor recreation activities including water sports and winter sports. This is a solid group of physicians that has strong relationship with the nursing staff and it is a great place to work. Everyone is friendly and the dynamic of the hospital and group is very cohesive. Patient volumes are consistently in the 16 mark.
