Job Description
Advocate Aurora Health is actively seeking a Medical Director to lead its' Hospitalist group at Aurora Medical Center Oshkosh. As Medical Director, you will routinely engage with your market CMO and Hospital Medicine team to solve problems, improve efficiency, create a professional atmosphere conducive to a high standard of patient care. You will collaborate with a highly engaged group of other site Medical Directors, our President of Hospital Medicine and administration to work on quality improvement, retention and recruitment. 
Aurora Medical Center Oshkosh is a level 3 trauma center with full subspecialty support as well as strong support from hospital administration. This amazing practice environment allows for optional procedures, an open ICU with Intensivists on-site and the ability to do very few nights as there is a Nocturnist on-site. Some highlights of the program include:
  • Twenty-four (24) weeks of work per year
  • 12 hour shifts, block schedule
  • Quality patient/physician encounters

  • ICU and procedures available at your desire, not required

  • The Hospitalists carry 100% of the medical admissions and provide consultation as requested for surgical patients
