Aurora Medical Center, West Allis offers a great location and is located just 15 minutes from anywhere in Metro Milwaukee with full-service and regionally recognized health care options. This is a busy 350 bed community hospital and primary stroke center supported by over 1000 physicians across 80 specialties. As a nationally recognized health care provider, we offer a wide range of medical specialties in a culturally affirming and compassionate way to help all people live well.

Our neuroscience team is at the top of its field. You will join colleagues focused on a patient-centered and collaborative approach to quality care. The patient base is established through referrals from within the system and our program has increasing success in attracting patients from competing healthcare systems. Our program is fully integrated with the neuroscience service line, which maximizes resource allocation and consolidates call coverage while creating an assimilated network of specialists for even the most complex conditions. 

Our Program Offers:
  • Consult service with block scheduling
  • 7 on/7 off schedule with room for flexible alternatives
  • Separate stroke and epilepsy services and no acute stroke responsibility
  • Shared, communicative EPIC EMR across the system for continuity of care
  • Salary-based compensation with extra shift pay if desired
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BC/BE and completion of a neurology residency from an ACGME accredited program
