Job Title: Hematologist/Oncologist
Duties: The Hematologist/Oncologist at Aurora Medical Group, Inc. in Marinette, Wisconsin will monitor, provide, and manage long-term comprehensive medical care to patients suffering from malignant diseases, such as cancers, tumors and lymphomas, as well as diseases and disorders of the blood, spleen and lymph glands; will use medical instruments, equipment and diagnostic technologies, to examine patients for symptoms of cancers, tumors, and other malignant diseases, blood diseases/disorders and/or lymphatic disorders, and verify the necessity of medical treatment, intervention, and/or surgery, estimate possible risks to patients, and determine the best course of care; treat patients by prescribing or administering medication, such as chemotherapy, hormones and analgesics, and other specialized non-surgical medical care and therapies; and consult with surgeons and radiologists regarding the provision of other treatments and therapies for the diseases and disorders suffered by patients.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Medical Degree (M.D.) or its foreign equivalent, completion of an accredited medical residency program in Internal Medicine, completion of an accredited medical fellowship in Hematology and Oncology and possession of a State of Wisconsin medical license.
