Advocate Health is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Palliative Care Physician to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin.
 
Job details
As a Palliative Care physician, you will provide inpatient consultation services to patients, emphasizing family meetings to discuss and clarify goals of care. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in growing our outpatient palliative care clinic to enhance the scope and effectiveness of palliative care services and the quality of life for our patients. 
  • Join a well-established Palliative Care Team where you will be busy from day one
  • Collaborate with a system program of Palliative Medicine Physicians, APCs, Social Workers, and Chaplains
  • Practice
    • Consists of a mix of Inpatient and Outpatient to cater to the needs of our patient population 
    • Flexible Schedule Monday – Friday 
    • Shared Call (average 1:6) to ensure a supportive work environment and promote a healthy work/life balance 
  • Supports a Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship Program
  • Opportunities for Research and Academics
  • Aurora Grafton Medical Center is a 132-bed, 24/7 full-service hospital
    • Cancer Clinic on-site 
 Training and/or experience required 
  • Medical Degree: Possession of an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school 
  • Completion of an accredited Residency Program and Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine Fellowship
  • Board Certification: BC/BE in Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine
  • Experience: Experience or interest in program development within the field of Palliative Care with a strong focus on the outpatient setting
