Advocate Aurora Health & Advocate Children’s Hospital is growing, and we are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Plastic Surgeon to join our team.
The Pediatric Plastic Surgeon position within the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Advocate Children’s Hospital will join our existing Pediatric Plastic Surgeons; you will be part of our expanding Division of Pediatric Surgery with an accredited craniofacial program. You will be a collaborative partner within a team of outstanding multidisciplinary professionals while enjoying full support from nearly 120 pediatric and surgical subspecialists, exceptional pediatric anesthesia and state of the art diagnostic capabilities.
The primary site of clinical practice will be Advocate Children’s Hospital-Oak Lawn a 145-bed pediatric hospital with a 60 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), 24 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, 45 bed Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit, 16 bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and 22 bed Pediatric Emergency Department.
The Pediatric Plastic Surgeon will see patients in outpatient clinics, perform surgeries, provide consults in the Pediatric Inpatient Units and Emergency Department, and share in Pediatric Plastic on-call coverage. As part of Advocate Aurora Health Care, Advocate Children’s Hospital is also collaborating with North Shore Pediatrics and the University of Chicago making us the largest network provider of pediatric services in Illinois and the 10th largest Healthcare system in the US.
