Job Description
Advocate Children’s Hospital/Medical Group is seeking a Part Time BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician.  

Candidates must have strong clinical skills and demonstrated teaching abilities in Pediatric Infectious Disease in addition to excellent interpersonal skills. The candidates will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching of medical students and residents. Clinical activities of the division, both in-patient and out-patient, are conducted at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. 
 
Our hospital is a level I trauma center and has a 46-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit, 54-bed NICU, 19-bed PICU, and busy Pediatric ER with more than 20,000 visits per year.  The Department of Pediatrics participates in teaching more than 150 medical students and 100 residents (pediatric and other specialties) each year. As part of Advocate Health Care, Advocate Children's Hospital is the largest network provider of Pediatric services in Illinois and among the top 10 in the nation. Candidates should have formal training in the field of Pediatric Infectious Disease and be Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Infectious Disease. Position is not J-1 eligible.
