Job Description
Advocate Aurora Health has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic entry level or experienced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who wishes to do both Inpatient and Outpatient with an established, experienced team in Oak Lawn, Illinois. You will become part of a respected team of clinicians focused on getting our patients back in the game.

Education, training and/or experience required:
  • Completion of an accredited physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program
  • Fellowship in spinal cord or brain injury welcome but not required
  • Compassionate and patient centered with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong desire to advance the growth of an already successful program
  • Collaborative team player
Program Overview: 
  • Advocate Christ Medical Center is an 802-bed in Oak Lawn and is one of the busiest Level I trauma centers in Illinois; it is a major referral hospital in the Midwest for several specialties including cancer care, heart and kidney transplantation and orthopedics
  • Current group consists of 5 established Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians who provide the full breadth of both inpatient and outpatient care
  • Highly supportive and respected group with an excellent practice environment
  • Opportunity for electrodiagnosis, acute inpatient rehabilitation, consultations and subacute rehabilitation 
  • You will also have the opportunity to pursue interests in all aspects of spasticity management and/or your own area of clinical interest 
  • Will partner with an experienced multi-disciplinary team and enjoy outstanding support with a dedicated staff 
  • Physicians take own call during the week, shared call on the weekends
