Job Description
Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is recruiting a pulmonologist to join our team of physicians and nurse practitioners. St. Luke’s Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Advocate Aurora Health in Wisconsin and serves as a tertiary, quaternary and transplant referral center for multiple disciplines. This position includes the opportunity to perform advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy (for example, EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy) or to interpret sleep studies if interest exists and training allows.


The Pulmonary Section at St. Luke’s Medical Center currently has:
  • Four pulmonary /critical care physicians and three nurse practitioners
  • Active leadership roles within the hospital and healthcare system.   
  • An existing Interventional Pulmonology program with navigational and robotic bronchoscopy, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, bronchial thermoplasty and other advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • A nearby, off campus, 8 bed sleep lab
  • Opportunities for academic affiliation and teaching (nurse practitioner and medical students, residents and fellows)
  • A system wide Thoracic Tumor Board and a system wide multidisciplinary ILD conference
  • A blend of inpatient / outpatient care, procedures and ICU care (if desired)
  • An opportunity for self-initiated or external / industry sponsored research, if interested
