Job details
- Full-time acute general surgeon/trauma surgeon
- Level II 117 bed community hospital provides the highest level of care with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies
- With supportive ACS partners, you will provide emergent and trauma surgical care for patients in a collegial environment
- Opportunity to some do elective surgical cases but not required
- Schedule includes 168 24-hour shifts (approximately 14/month) as either primary or secondary coverage for acute emergency general surgery and Level 2 trauma coverage
- Must maintain availability within 15 minutes of the hospital due to the trauma needs
- Dedicated staff and a full complement of specialists available to support your practice
- EPIC EMR
Training and/or experience required (if applicable)
- General surgery residency program, no fellowship required
- Desire to provide emergent care at a busy Level 2 center
- Compassionate, patient-focused physician
