Advocate Aurora Health has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic general/trauma surgeon to join an established team at our Advocate Good Samaritan Medical Center in Downers Grove, Illinois. Advocate Aurora is one of the largest integrated not-for-profit systems in the nation with facilities in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
Training and/or experience required:
- Completion of an accredited general surgery residency program
- Fellowship in surgical critical care
- Patient centered with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player
Program Overview:
- Advocate Good Samaritan Medical Center is a 293 bed Level I center, leading health care provider in Chicago’s western suburbs and the only Level I trauma Center in DuPage County
- Position will cover trauma shifts, acute surgery and critical care
- You will join a group of experienced, respected and supportive partners
- Trauma/emergent surgical cases include blunt and penetrating trauma, head injuries, hernias, appendix, bowels, etc.
