Job Title: Neuro-Ophthalmologist
 
Duties: The Neuro-Ophthalmologist at Aurora Medical Group, Inc. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will provide medical care, assessment and consultative services to patients with neurological disorders, diseases or injuries including specializing in patients with vision issues brought on by neurological conditions. The services include the examination, assessment, diagnosis, non-surgical treatment and management of problems of the central, autonomous, and peripheral nervous systems which may include, traumatic injuries or disease of the brain, nerve palsy, infections of the nervous system, brain and spinal cord tumors, double vision, eyelid abnormalities, myasthenia gravis, optic nerve disorders, psuedotumor cerebri, strabismus, and thyroid eye disease. Analyze records, reports, test results and/or examination information to diagnose and assess medical condition(s) of patients and treat patients by prescribing or administering medication, therapy, vaccination, development programs/activities or other specialized medical care; collect, record and maintain patient medical history; and advise patients concerning development concerns, activity, disease and injury prevention.
 
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Medical Degree (M.D.) or its foreign degree equivalent, completion of accredited residency in Neurology, completion of an accredited fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology and possession of a State of Wisconsin medical license
